The Khan is a center for trade, both local and foreign, in the late 15th century. it includes traditional crafts, hundreds of workers and artisans who specializing hand made masterpieces such as carpets, crystals, papyrus, gold and silver jewelry ,it is also famous for beautiful pharaonic artifacts
Sphinx
Sphinx was built more than 4,500 years ago, to guard the pyramid of Giza. It has the head of a Human and the body of a lion , The ancient Egyptians believed that the sphinx was a representation of their solar deity, Sun God, Horemakhet or Horus of the Horizon. Historical records from the New Kingdom show that in Egyptian culture the sphinx symbolized royalty and sacred status.

Kom Ombo Temple
Unfinished Obelisk
The unfinished obelisk is nearly one-third larger than any ancient Egyptian obelisk ever erected. If finished it would have measured around 41.75 meters (137.0 ft.)and would have weighed nearly 1,090 tones (1,200 short tons).Its creation was ordered by Hatshepsut(1508–1458 BC), possibly to complement what would later be known as the Lateran Obelisk (which was originally at Karnak, and was later brought to the Lateran Palace in Rome).
Edfu Temple
Dedicated to the god Horus , lord of Edfu, the Temple of Horus is the most famous monument at Tell Edfu. Due to its completeness and state of preservation, it is the best example of Ptolemaic temple building in Egypt. The temple is oriented from south to north, measuring little over 140m long and occupying an area of about 7000m2.

The Karnak temple complex at Luxor developed over more than 1,000 years between the Middle Kingdom (2080–1640 B.C.), it is the largest and most important religious complex in ancient Egypt and the largest religious building ever built, is the Temple of Amun-Ra, considered to be where that god lived on earth with his wife, Mut, and son, Khonsu, who also have temples at the site.
